Eligibility
We are looking for applicants with an excellent academic background. Degree level (or equivalent) obtained/aiming for a minimum 2:1 (60%). If you have a PhD or further qualifications and experience, these will be taken into consideration.
Preference will be given to applicants who have the right to work in the UK.
Our offer
- Minimum salary £30,000 depending on your qualifications
- Salary reviewed twice a year for the first three years
- £2,000 joining bonus
- Final salary non contributory pension scheme
INTERNS

You should be aiming for a degree or equivalent to a minimum or 2:1 (60%) in a related discipline.
Our offer
- A one year internship before the start of your final year
- Salary £17,000

The Petroplus selection procedure is fair, honest and transparent at all stages.
Stage 1
Application forms to be returned to Coryton Refinery by post or email.
CLOSING DATE 17 NOVEMBER 2008
Stage 2
Applicants passing the first stage screening will be invited to complete a short online assessment.
Stage 4
Successful applicants will be invited to our 2 day assessment event, which will involve
interviews, numeric and verbal reasoning assessments along with interactive group discussions.
Stage 4
If you are successful you will receive your offer quickly. If you are unsuccessful then we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you full feedback.
All Intern and Graduate positions have a planned induction programme. A mentor will be allocated to help you settle in and encourage you to get the most out of your time at Coryton Refinery.
Stage 5 - Internships
You will also be involved in our ongoing learning and development programme and have the opportunity to demonstrate your achievements in our final assessment process, to fast track you to the GraduateDevelopment Programme.
